Introducing the Duty Free Awards — the first international competition built specifically for the travel retail channel. Beginning in 2027, brand owners across beer, wine, and spirits can enter the very first Duty Free Awards, judged blind by a panel of real trade buyers who work the travel retail and duty-free channel every day.

The Duty Free Awards is a proud addition to the International Beverage Competitions Group that was founded 17 years ago. The group is the team behind the New York, Berlin, Melbourne, and Asia/Singapore International Spirits, Wine, and Beer Competitions, and follows the same trusted format: blind judging, by category and by price What separates this competition from all the other ones that are duty free focused is that this competition has only real trade buyers judging by price and category and that it will be held throughout 2027.

Entries are judged throughout 2027 alongside our existing New York, Berlin, Melbourne, and Asia/Singapore competitions — giving your brand a single entry point into four major buyer touchpoints around the world and to win in both competitions the Duty Free Awards as well as the competition they ship entries to.
